Procurement query
Before you buy, know what it really costs to have it in your warehouse.
What it is for
Compare up to five ways of bringing in the same product (another supplier, country, Incoterm or currency) and see what each one costs landed, with duties, DTA and VAT, and which regulation applies. The tool tells you which scenario is best.
How to use it
- 1Describe the product, its tariff code and the quantity.
- 2Add one to five scenarios with the country of origin and the price; freight, insurance and charges if you like.
- 3Send and compare: each scenario's cost and the best one, highlighted.
What you get
- The landed cost of each scenario, in Mexican pesos, and its unit cost.
- The import duty (IGI) with its rate and legal basis, the DTA and the recoverable VAT.
- The margin, if you give the selling price, and whether the scenario is viable or what blocks it.
- The regulation: NOM standards and chapter notices, and the best scenario with the gap to the others.
