Consulting

Twenty years of foreign trade behind every product.

Pure developers don't know what an auditor looks for. Twenty years in real foreign trade define what each product checks, how it explains it and what to do with what it finds. Consulting remains available as a service of its own.

Implementation and support

Every product is rolled out at your plant, with your team and your real data, not in a demo.

We start with an on-site assessment of your Annex 24 and 30, your entries and your purchasing, and decide together which product to start with. We connect your sources, load the history and train the people who will use it.

Then we stay with you: periodic reviews of the results, rules adjusted to your operation and in-person support when the authorities start a review or a proceeding.

  • On-site assessment and risk priorities
  • Data connection and history load
  • Training of the foreign trade team
  • Periodic follow-up and support in reviews

International trade in proteins and medical devices

We work alongside our clients as an extension of their team, in the part of the operation where deals are usually lost.

In proteins (seafood, meat and poultry) and medical devices: supplier qualification, specification and labeling, regulatory access to each market, cost structure and delivery and payment terms.

Experience in the United States, Mexico, the European Union, the Middle East, China and Southeast Asia. We are not brokers: we take no position in the goods and are not paid by the counterparty.

  • Supplier qualification
  • Specification, labeling and regulatory access
  • Landed cost
  • Incoterms, logistics and payment terms

Health certification before COFEPRIS and SENASICA

Medical devices, pharmaceuticals, hospital equipment, proteins and agro-industrial products need health authorisation to enter and be sold in Mexico.

We handle those procedures before COFEPRIS and SENASICA end to end: product classification, technical file, registrations, permits and certificates, labeling under Mexican standards and access to public tenders.

These are health and regulatory procedures, not customs ones: we do not clear goods. We coordinate with your customs broker so the papers exist before the goods arrive.

  • Health registrations, permits and certificates
  • Technical file and risk classification
  • Labelling under the applicable NOM
  • Public tenders and distribution

In-bond operations

Goods crossing the United States in transit, under bond and without entering the US market, to their destination or re-export.

We organize the documentation and follow-up of each in-bond movement with the authorised carrier and broker, so the transit closes on time and without incidents.

  • Transit planning and documentation
  • Coordination with authorised carrier and broker
  • Follow-up until the operation closes

International payments and currency cover

Every commercial relationship begins with an act of trust, and it is almost always taken by whoever pays first. In international trade that is where deals stall: not over price, but over who moves first.

We structure the operation around a bank-held escrow deposit with an established United States banking institution. The funds remain with the bank throughout: Hammick never receives or holds client money. Our role is to define the conditions of release, verify against the documentation that the agreed terms were met and instruct the bank accordingly.

We also advise on forward exchange cover, so the rate is fixed at the date of the agreement. The cover is contracted by the client with its own bank: we are not an insurer and we issue nothing. What we do is establish where the exposure sits and match the hedge to the contract's payment calendar.

  • US bank-held escrow: Hammick holds no funds
  • Release conditions tied to documents
  • A proportionate alternative to a letter of credit
